A friend of mine said when I built it that it was a example of pure overkill! Originally when I built the enclosure, its purpose was to house a couple of turkeys. What you don't see, is that outside of the enclosure is another secured area that houses chickens. Of course the chickens have no access to the grow area. Had to make the enclosure real secure because here we have a predator problem when it comes to raising chickens especially. From mountain lions, to coyotes, to wild dogs & more. Last year, mountain lions got in my "old" enclosure and just had a feast. So when I built this one, I included barbed wire and concertina wire, I said no way is anything gonna get in there except by air or tunneling in. So now to get into the area, one has to enter one of my back yards, get past 2 dogs AND go right past our bedroom and my shotgun. Nearest neighbor's about 3/4 of a mile away, so nosy folks aren't a issue. Heck, just to get from my house to the nearest blacktop road is 3 miles. So we're pretty secluded.

I am tempted to "top" the plants but being my 1st grow, i'm leery about doing anything with them right now except water & feed. But under those conditions, I hope I do get a decent yield.
