First ever grow with some questions for more experienced
[attachment=o285433][attachment=o285434][attachment=o285435][attachment=o285436]This is the first plant I've ever grown. I have to keep it out doors. I believe it first started coming up in late April so I figure its approximately 10 weeks. Decided to see if i could force flowering so I used only thing available, Black garbage bags. I put garbage bags on at 8pm and off at 8am, I realize that garbage bags are not ideal with lack of ventilation and humidity but all i can do. First question is- am I right in thinking this is a female? And when i take garbage bag off I notice the bending, will that hurt anything? I am going to attempt to make a wire frame for garbage bag. Also trying to find some fertalizer with low n and higher p. Suggestions Please.

Hey,
First off, forcing a plant to bloom outdoors using plastic garbage bags is far from a good idea.
Just let nature take its course and be patient. The plant will bloom naturally in a few weeks anyway...
If you try to bloom a plant outdoors you need to block all of the light but also keep fresh air around it. You are suffocating your plant in a garbage bag...
Also, you can't be blocking all of the light with a garbage bag so you may end up turning your plant into a hermie with all the stress you are causing it.
From your pictures I think you have a male. In the July 10th picture you have a close up of the stem. That little thing sticking out of the stem looks like the beginning of nanners.
So basically, I think you have a male plant, or possibly a hermie from all the stress. It's possible the plant was always a male but there is also a chance that you stressed it into becoming a hermie. But I'm not 100% yet as it is very early into sexing. Give it another few days and post a clear picture of the same area.
Anyway, I think you were unlucky this time. Be sure to leave the plants take the natural way next time and leave the garbage bags for the garbage men
Take Care
S.L.

[attachment=o285437][attachment=o285438][attachment=o285439][attachment=o285440]Thank you, I know that's sound advice and i wish i had the time to let it go naturally or had a place to put it indoor. This is not an ideal situation at best but damn the torpedos and full steam ahead. Knowing that im limited on what i can do, time wise and location, heres what i figure my best rout is... I'm going to place bags (using bout 3 bags) over plant at 8pm then remove around 10pm then replace before sun comes up (6:15) till 8am, at least until I know for sure if its male or female. I took a few more pics.

WHOA "B.Stubbs"! "Placing garbage bags from 8 pm to 8 am!!??" No way Bro! You're treating this majestic plant like it's a putrid commodity!
O.K., Not knowing where you are, this i know; It's still summer, you still have a chance! Since you obviously do internet, take advantage of you-tube, and other;
Cannabis blog or site's to teach yourself about what it takes to competently grow medical Cannabis! Regarding "Fertilizer", it's more than just correct ph!
Go "Organic" if you could, find some good nutrients such as Humboldt Nutrients, or some other California pioneer group who've had many years success.
