Editing posts?

I posted a grow log earlier and went to edit it and there is no edit option? I posted it over 6+ hours ago and there is still no edit option. I only found a few posts regarding the editing problem...all seeming to have some form of 10-15 minute period where you can't edit the post. I shouldn't be affected by this though since I posted hours ago? Perhaps it's because I'm a new member? Any input or help?

Once a post is made, a member has 10 minutes to edit and make any changes to that post.

Ahh, so all of the changes must be made within 10 minutes? Well shit. I was figuring I could just come back at anytime and adjust my Grow Log at any time. I'll keep that in mind for all of my future post. Thanks Burnt Toast.
