    i snapped my tap root will it live?

    i was putting my seed into the dirt when the tap root snapped i was wondering if it will live it still has well over a centimeter maybe even two and it snapped right in half. so i guess im just wondering if it will survive seeing as it has such a large root anyways

    Im sure it will survive, it just might be a little weaker than the rest.

    Tap roots are very precious things to a young seedling !

    It can make it also grow better...I break up roots on transplants to get them taking off fast.

    Yea it will survive if it was a strong seed to begin with its happened to me a couple of times also cus of my big hands lol. Make sure u give it plenty of water

    But don't over water. Also an occasional WEAK nute feed would help. Before ya reburied the seedling I think it would have helped to put some rooting gel or powder on it. Any other thoughts on that one.

    I broke my only Pacifica plant the other day. My new to me soil mix worm beds work so well I had it & others bouncing off the 6'+ cover of my OD grow area. I was bending the Pacifica so it would lay more horizontal & the main stem would not burn on my light panels. I had it weighted just right, I thought. While working on another plant I heard a nasty 'snap!' It broke about in half. Now it's just over 3' tall. Lotsa side branches though. I tried a splice, no go. Oh well...
