tds help plz
hi, when i use my reverse osmosis water the tds reads about 50, once i add 1/4 strength nutrient it reads around 160. what i want to know is, where ever i read wat to aim for concerning tds ive been told 750-1300 is gd. am i meant to add more nutrient? and if i do, wont that burn my plants? thanks from a noob grower

tds help plz
if you start with 50 then use that as a tare number. If you want say 800PPm then you add nutrients to bring the number up to 850ppm. Thay way if you want 800ppm then you can hit the number with confidence that you are not using to much nutrients.
