Exercise burns fat cells in which THC is stored in. Anytime fat cells burn, the stored THC metabolizes into THCA and is released back into the bloodstream. The kidneys filter the THCA metabolites from the bloodstream and deposits them into the bladder for the eventual exit.

So for those 3 days, you want your body to go into "storage mode" - stop burning the fat to prevent a bunch of THCA from being released, which will end up in the urine to be detected.
