Starting off my first grow. ive planted in or around 30 seeds which i came by from bad bags of green.

The soil i'm using is a mix i made of compost, sand, and Vermiculite in a ration of 2:1:1 and have planted my seeds into compressed compost pots for easy and painless transplanting. Going to transplant once into a 3Litre pot cause im not wanting the plants to grow too big.

I'm going to try out clipping the plants first once they have around 3 or 4 nodes, and then fimming the two new growths when they have developed a bit.

I'm growing my plants in a polytunnel so i will be needing to create some dark box to create the 12/12 hours light and darkness the plant needs to flower. I'm also planning on using tomato feed on my plants during flowering stage for big buds.

so basically a few questions i have are
-Do i need to supply my plants with nutrients during veg growth or will the compost be enough?, i also dont want them to get any higher then 4 or 5 foot
-Is the soil mix ok because when i water my seedlings the water seems to drain quite fast? am i using too much sand in my mix?
-Also i'm relying on the summer sun for the lighting of my plants, so will there be any point to starting my plants now or is it too late?
-Will a 3Litre pot be big enough for my plants final pot?

I'll proably have move questions as time goes on but this is all im curious about now.

Any help will be very much appreciated:rasta:
