Testing in 16 days

Hello everyone.
Basically, I've been smoking pretty much everyday for the past month or so, before that was more like weekly for a month or 2.
I would share anywhere from 2-6 joints sometimes with a friend, sometimes just 1 joint on my own.
Anyway, I have 16 days to get clean for a test and I'm stopping as of today.

I have read about the dilution method and as of right now it's my planned course of action.
I'm just wondering about the efficiency of the method assuming I execute it perfectly, I understand that since there has been no proper scientific study on this it is impossible to give a number. But I would appreciate some "non-official" advice coming from someone who knows his stuff.
Fake urine is another possibility but I'd really rather not.

I prefer to keep things private, but basically, it is extremely extremely important that I do not come up positive on this test. Even if it comes back as diluted it won't be a problem.

To answer your question as to the efficacy of dilution techniques, they are not a 100% sure thing (even N2 had pointed this out in the Dilution "sticky" thread). They can backfire if the THCA concentration in the bladder is too high. So to put it short - the less frequency of THC use, the better are the chances of success.

But given my situation (16 days clean), what chance do you think I hold in beating the test (given perfect execution)?
I understand that you are unable to give an official number or any sort of guarantee, but your personal opinion would be helpful and appreciated.
Also, if fakeboobs reads this, your advice would be helpful and appreciated as well!

Another thing, do you think synthetic urine would be a better option? 1 problem is I'll be tested right after I get off a plane so I'm a bit worried about the logistics of carrying fake pee.

One more question, how big of a difference is there between smoking almost everyday for 3-4 weeks and smoking everyday for 3 months+ ?
Cos people seem to judge the frequency per week of smoking up and length doesn't seem to be a factor commonly take into consideration.
