Moving Back to Colorado, Red Card question(s)

Hey I have a question regarding the Colorado Red Card. I used to have a Red Card for Colorado, but moved out of state so my wife could attend school (she claims she would miss me too much if I not move with her) and now that she has graduated, we are moving back to beautiful Colorado this week. I want to get my Red Card ASAP and (more importantly) get my badly needed meds (also) ASAP.
    My question(s) are:
    A) would this still count as a renewal (since I did have a card that expired ~1 year ago
    B) can renewals get meds using paperwork and proof of mailing?
    or
    C) would this count as a new card since I have not had for ~ 1 year
and thus be able to use paperwork and proof of mailing to get badly needed meds

Moving Back to Colorado, Red Card question(s)

    A) if you've had a card before, it's a renewal
    B) no...only new applications
    C) nope...it's a renewal

HOWEVER, (some here get mad at me for this), I've seen renewals mark their app as new on this forum and got meds immediately with proof of mailing. It's not recommended but I'm still curious about it, myself. I'm also not taking any responsibility should you get kicked off. I supposed you could always plead ignorance...

Yes, it is still a renewal, but you will not be able to use your paperwork to buy meds. Mark it as a new application and with proof of mailing, you can purchase meds right away.
