    A Gatekeeper Grow

    6-26-12

It has been about 2 weeks since I wrote last.
    PH 5.4
    Air temp 76F
    PPM 1125

As you can see from the photo she is very squat and in about two weeks should provide me with several babies.
She has 2 heads on the outside which are the bigger ones and four on the inside that are finally taking shape.
on 6-28-12 I will change her water and feed. I will start her first feeding of aggressive mix as recommended by
General Hydroponics. I was having problems with algae so I took some black burlap and covered the stones and
tossed a few on top of the burlap to hold it in place algae solved. PH now stable.

    A Gatekeeper Grow

I started her on her first Regimen of Aggressive growth as recommended by GH. She started to yellow yesterday so i sprayed her leaves for her to stretch out her change cycle.
    Base water PPM ....400
    PH 5.6
    New PPM 1804
    Watching closely for neut burn.
Have to go away for 7 days
Taking wife to see her mom before she dies of cancer.
Her neuts were not lasting a complete week. I noticed her roots have not come out of the basket yet.
She is in a 5 gallon bucket so there is a lot of DEAD Space she cant reach so I will be hooking up a water pump without a hose to stir the bottom up for 1/2 hour twice a day.
I hope this will extend her neut change.
When I get back I will make her a mom and post before and after pics.
I had her under a 100 watt MH and the power went off for a second this morning and the MH never came back on. So I put her under a CFL bank so the lights will come on in case of a power outage.
This is all I can offer her. I will raise the CFL light bank off her top to about 18" to make her stretch for some nice babies when I get home. I am sure if she were in soil like her mom she would not make it without water.
I heat stress her a little and make her a little thirsty. daytime temps can reach 90F for an hour or two.
I will harvest at week 8 and on week 7 I will use no GH flora gro and instead use 2 Tablespoons of Molasses
and for week 8 I will use straight water. I plan on hitting her with a 400W HPS at week 4 or 5.

    A Gatekeeper Grow

    I am back. She survived.
    Returning PPM...1980
Added 1.5 gallons water to rim of 5 gallon bucket.
    New PPM... 1566
She drank a lot of water. The water table was at the bottom of her bucket.
This indicates she drank a lot of water. I was fortunate that she ate enough nutes as the water level dropped
I think this stabilized the PPM and she did not suffer neut toxicity.
The lava rocks are wet indicating that there is high humidity in the bucket
I took 4 babies and they are in my clonabator
You can see the roots just breaking the outside of the lava rocks.
As promised here are a few pics. Before, during and after.
