Growing tight and compact, which will pay dividends in the flower stage, is acheived mostly by light and fan.

My afghan plant is always about 8 - 10" below the light surface, because of the taller plants. So for me, light is important, but so is the fan blowing right on them making them shake, wiggle and roll...

Yours look fairly compact as well as far as you afghan grow. But could be shorter.

I think fan is very important as it forces growth to stem width rather than height. I have no real desire for height, as the flower chamber will address that issue.

For veggin, I want as many secondary growths as possible...from every node...then those nodes should give growth to additional shoots and so on and so forth.

I have 14 new 'shoots' on Whore right now at day 25. If the whore ever turns female, each one of these 'shoots' is gonna bud, and the stem strength is there to hold them up.

Try putting a fan on them...not an oscillating one, but one dedicated just to blowing them around...all day.
