My Mom let me start smoking ciggarettes when I was sixteen and shes from germany and you can smoke there at that age, so she figured it was pretty normal that Id pick it up (plus she knew I would do it anyway even if it wasnt allowed), so later on in the year I was tired of hiding the fact that I smoke pot (me and my mom are like friends we can talk about anything--shes kick ass), so I figured Id tell her. When I told her that I smoked pot, she was like "I know you do, remember I was a teenager too in the 70's for christs sake", then she said its fine as long as I dont get in trouble with it at school or on the streets or whatever.

Hey-

Most sane parents would rather have you smoke at home and stay outta trouble, rather than make you go drive your car to some sketchy parking lot where you could potentially be arrested.

I find that I like my high much better when at home, or at a friend's house rather than out "in the streets". Not much chance of getting busted in a quiet household.

its been a 3 years and they found out last week"your drug test results are back and it says you failed for 3 kinds of marijuana"....no kiddind the drug test came back with 3 kinds,,,,,but they dont really care

i recomend sitting them down on the sofa, and tell them that before they speak, they should listen to what you have to say. tell your parents you smoke pot, and immediately give them proof of the fact that pot isnt really as bad as the government says it is. let your parents understand that marijuana isnt something that is taking over your life, but that you do really enjoy it. if your parents are like mine, they will gain alot of respect for you because you came forward instead of lying. waiting to be caught is easy, since if you live with your parents i can almost guarentee you will be caught, so it is alot easier to just come forward. doing this might make your relationship with your parents kind of akward at first, but trust me when i say that in the long run it is much better. thats all i gotta say, peace.

climbing high is spot on. If your parents are reasonable people and not completly brainwashed and close-minded they will listen to you and let you smoke if you talk to them about it and how it really isnt dangerous.

but what if (s)he has alkies (drunks) for parents that don't care about what the kid has to say no mater what it is and if they feel like it they slap the shit outta them? don't think that method would work on them...matter of fact i don't think any method would work on them...

i know my parents know, because i dropped a baggy filled with bud on the floor in front of my dad. Theyve never spoken to me about i though so i assume there realtively cool.

dude when you did that did you get all scared and paraniod as shyt? i can just see the face of someone when they accidently drop a bag of weed at the feet of their father that they think doesn't know lol....if that happened to me i'd get that feeling you get when you get pulled over and you got weed on you...you know when your adrenaline is pumping so hard you swear you artery's are going to explode because of it.....good feeling but i'd rather not get the feeling and stay away from cops then risk gettin locked up (again)

damn right...he was on his way out at the time though. He picked it up (i didnt realise id dropped it till he had it in his hand. He looked at it and i said "dad you know what it is" (he used to be a full on stoner/grower) Then he gave it back to me (best bit lol) and sed "ill talk to you about that later" All my friends were just staring. I wasnt too paranoid cos im sure they kinda new before that. Its been about a month since then and still no talk, which is pretty sweet. We still laugh about it lol.
