The 125 W. rating is supposedly a comparison to incandescent lights.
It takes 125 W. of incandescent light to produce the same 1680 lumens.
Yes, those will do fine for vegging.
You might want to "kick it up a notch" when it's time to flower.
Don't expect trees of course, but a skillful grower can make do with 96 Watts of cfls

CfL lighting problem Hello ~~ everyone , I m just new for growing MJ with CFL lights, the introdution from the CFL 's box said , 6500k 24w / 125w output ? what is this exactly means ? means i use 24 w energy to produce 125 w light power ? it says , 70 lumens per w , so i shud court with 24 w x 70 lumens or 125w x 70 lumens ? I m very confuse about that now , cause i just bought four of them , use them in a 40cm x 40 cm x 60 cm grow box, is that enough light for growing ? please help !!!! Rating: 5
