Won't flower???
Sounds like a big waste of power vegging for 3 months...
I veg for 4-5 weeks and then I go to 12/12 and in a few days I can easily tell the difference... You still aren't making a whole lot of sense...
You don't need to wait for the plant to tell you its sex... you can force the plant to tell you its sex whenever you like... Even take a cutting off a vegging plant if you like and bloom that...
After you go 12/12 it will take a few days and possibly a week+ to find the sexes... Even after you find that you have a male there is no need to panic... The male wont do any damage until
the pollen sacks mature which can be another couple of weeks...
You really have the traditional method of sexing your plants very backwards in your head... you are wasting time waiting 3 months for something that you can see in 3 days...
I just turned from 18/6 to 12/12 2 days ago and I can already tell all the females... But if you want to do things the long way go ahead... A longer veg will bring in a bigger yield anyway...
Well, as long as you have the lighting to cope with a Christmas tree and a 20 gallon pot....silent leprechaun Reviewed by silent leprechaun on . Won't flower??? My plant's been in a vegetative state for 90+ days and I still can't determine the sex. I've never had this problem before. It doesn't appear to be growing any more. Should I go ahead and change to 12/12? Rating: 5
