Requesting Green light to proceed
Hey guyz i've been reading up on growing for about 8 months now and decided to throw my hat in the ring.
Im using an indoor Homebox GL80 with a modified Stealth Hydro setup Tap water reads 40 -170 ppm(depending on probe depth) and a PH of approx 5.5-5.7 I have GH nutes and Ph adj. kit as well as test strips. the temp holds steady at about 86f. My humidity is somewhat on the dry side(30-36) but I am hoping it will increase when I add water to the res. oh my lighting is a single 3400 lumen cfl
Quite frankly I spent WAAAAAY too much for this setup but its what i needed so now I'm ready to wash my Hydroton and sink in a bunch of clones. but before I take the leap. I wanted the consult the all informative gurus to make sure I have something 4 months from now ad not just a wilting pile of plant matter. :smokin: so here are my personal ?'s that I couldn't find from searching.
Is ph adjustment a daily thing or a weekly thing?
one of the criticisms of the Stealth hydro setup is that the pots are too close together if I try to do six plants how will this affect them?
also the gl80 has about 54 cf and being that the setup is in a closet should I vent using a 240 cfm fan (the smallest I could find)? I'm thinking a small fan would be enough but im not sure. other than the aforementioned I think I'm ready to go. what say you?Zephod03 Reviewed by Zephod03 on .
