    PLANT JUST DIED:( NEED ANSWERS!

Hi, i had a plant growing for about 4 weeks now.. and it grew to about 5 inches. i checked on it like 2 days ago, and the leaves were all sagging down and looked darker green and were slimyish, and the plant overall just did not look good at all. i watered and let it sit out over night and when i checked on it after school the next day it looked even worse and was basically dead... i would love to have some answers to what exactly killed my plant? i would really love to kno, so that i dont make the same mistake with my other plants..

Need more info... is it indoor or outdoor? How many times are you watering? The plant coulda died from overwatering (MJ doesn't like wet feet) or maybe the seed was just low quality... there's various multiple reasons, you have to provide more clear background info.

it was an outdoor grow. and i dont think it was overwatering because i only watered it whenever the soil started to get a little dry. and like a said it happened out of nowhere and killed it pretty damn fast, like basically over night.

Slime on leaves is a sure sign of slugs or snails. Were the leaves partially eaten, wws the slime shimmery to white when dried? if so my money is on slugs. if slugs are a issue there are many ways to easily combat them.

    Grow On! JPS

no it wasnt slug slime, when i said slimy, i meant that the leaves had like a slimyish look to it and texture, but im not tottally sure how to describe it. the leaves were drooping down and were really dark green, and was like mushy when i touched it
