Balcony grow.
We would need more details to understand what the problems are.
When the plants first sprout they grow a couple of inches pretty quickly and then start focusing on growing the first sets of 'real' leaves.
A few hours day of direct daylight is enough in the beginning when they are so small. What are your pot sizes ? Be sure you give them good space to grow, dirt is cheap...
Check out my indoor grow from the beginning and you should get enough info. It's on here under, 'indoor growing' and its called 'testing the Pro-Grow 260'. You should get all the info you need in there.
And by the way, you never use nutes until at least the 3rd to 4th week and even then the nutes will be diluted. The plants can't handle that when they are so young. You will burn them.
Take care.silent leprechaun Reviewed by silent leprechaun on . Balcony grow. Hello everybody! I am 1 week into my grow and it seems the plants stopped growing. I think they don't have enough light since my balcony is covered and the sun only hits the plants directly for a few hours a day. I would like to know if i could use some LED lights connected to a battery during the day and recharge the batt at night. Also i am not using any nutes yet and i don't think i want to. Are they really necessary? Rating: 5
