The site is not loading the full size pictures and I can't see enough details on the thumbnails to let my amateur diagnostic skills loose. One thing though, you say you are growing in soil but using a PH of 5.8? 5.8 is Hydro PH, PH range for soil is usually 6.3 to 6.8 (I think most people use 6.3).

I think you must have mistaken me. You are using water with a PH of 5.8 and I think you should be using 6.3.

Oh forgive me, I will correct it as soon as possible. I just checked the water and its at 6.1 now so I do hope not much damage has been done.

Unfortunately the picture side of this forum is not working as it should be at the moment, so people are only able to look at the thumbnails.

First things first, the white spots. This could be a sign that your plant has some kind of infestation, sap suckers like Thrips create white/light spots on the leaves. If the new growth has it as well then I would get a good magnifier and examine the underside of your leaves. These things can be tiny and very hard to spot.

Growth wise she is doing O.K. The new growth seems to be looking healthier with just a little bit of nutrient burn on the tips (So hard to tell from the thumbnails) are you using a soil that contains fertiliser?

As long as the new growth looks good don't worry about the old bottom leaves.
