Piss Test upcoming for long time smoker

Sup smokey dokeys,

A little background - I've been smoking at least 4-5x per week for the past 10 years. I'm 28, 5'10, asian, 170 lbs, athletic build.

I need to pass a piss test in 4.5-5 weeks. Do you think I'll be fine if I don't do anything special, or should I go on some cleanses cuz I've been smoking for so long? If so, what kind of stuff do you recommend for my situation - drinkin tons of water and shit?

By utilizing the forums Search button, using the terms detox scam, you'll discover that all those so-called "cleansers" are nothing but a big scam to seperate the credulous from their cash.

Drinking a bunch of water days or weeks before the test is of no help. THC is not water-soluble. Therefore you cannot "wash" or "flush" THC from the body like you can wash dirt from a vehicle. Doesnt work that way.
Drinking water is only helpful on the day of the U/A. Thats because the water consumption only serves to dilute the THCA concentration that is present in the bladder. The idea is to dilute the concentration to where the urine sample would register below the cutoff thresholds of the U/A screen. This dilution phenomena, however, is only temporary - once all of the fluids ingested had all been urinated out, the bladder is replenished with fresh THCA-laden urine by the kidneys, and thus the donor would resume testing positive for THC.

Pick up some THC test kits and test yourself so you know for sure where you stand. Be sure to use the first urination of the day for your home tests.

Thanks for the advice, Burnt Toast. Will definitely grab some home test as I get to 2-3 weeks out. I would 100% fail right now. Outta curiosity why the 1st piss of the day?

Also - Are there other methods (as drinking water don't work) that I can use to "cleanse" myself in the meantime for the next couple weeks? I got a few weeks but lots of years of smoking to "cleanse" off...

Just thoroughly reviewed my offer letter and all the docs I'm asked to sign. No where in the docs did it mention that my employment is contingent upon a drug test. Just a release of my background information and background check.

I prly won't smoke for the next 5 weeks anyways, but does this mean I am in the clear? Are they not legally allowed to test me (or even better do their docs suggest that they're not planning to)?

The only proven method to rid the body of THC is time and fat-burning exercise.

Outta curiosity why the 1st piss of the day?

Youd want to use the first-days urination when THCA concentrations are at their highest. By doing it this way, youre testing yourself under a "worst-case scenario".
If youre able to test negative under that "worse-case scenario", consider yourself good to go.

If youre testing positive, then you should consider subbing.
