    Coco for the first time

Still got that rusting coming out on the leaves ?,we've had a bit of mad weather lately (cold)up and down really, and my fan problem ?.
Give them all a flush through with water and calmag today as there is a bit of slight burning on the tips of leaves, see if they pick up.
All in all I think I've done well for my first go at coco, time will tell, photos will come.

The ladies are drinking near enough 3 litres each over the 12 hours,I split it into two feeds because I thought 3 litres straight of was to much ?,didn't want to flood them.

You can post pics now, you have a little + next to your name. It is 50 posts or 2 weeks membership.

Now... as regards feeding frequency. Feeding frequency is dependant on a range of factors like the ambient temperature, growing medium and pot size.

I feed every 2 days once my plants are into flower (I have also tried daily feeding) and from what I have read this is also too often. Other coco growers aim for a feeding every 3 days and if you are feeding more often than that they would say your pots are too small for the size of your plants. I break the rules and use small pots and feed more often, but it is not the way you are supposed to do it.

I think you were probably overwatering during the early weeks (coco is very good at preventing overwatering). Feeding in one go is fine, you should water your plants until you get about 10% run off and DO NOT LET THEM SIT IN THE RUN OFF. This is very important, if you let them sit in the run off it can cause root rot.

I'm in ten litre pots, ladies stand at about 4foot,
There is no way they would go 2 or 3 days watering, they drink whatever I give them, will try the ten percent run off and see how long it takes to drink.
Goin to try and post pics now thanks for info

I am not sure to be honest. Even if you do post some pics in your album, I havn't been able to open a pic on this site for a while (I can only see the thumbnail not open the full size pic). I thought it was just me but other people have posted that they are having the same issue. I nearly always use a free external image host, the only pics I have in my album are feeding schedules.

Use imgur or photobucket or imageshack or sommat else like that.

50 posts is not going to make any difference.

1, google imgur (i cannot post a link as I think it is against forum rules)

2, go to youtube and search for "using imgur"

If you can use a forum, using imgur will be like falling off a log.
