    Dysmenorrhea as a qualifying condition

Does anyone know whether dysmenorrhea or endometriosis are qualifying conditions for medical cannabis in NM?

A few years ago, a physician in Texas diagnosed me with endometriosis but it seemed like a rushed diagnosis. He simply prescribed a painkiller that was later banned by the FDA- ha! Typical. My menstrual cramps cause intense back pain, weakness, vomiting, fever, and other stomach issues.

I understand that it has sometimes been difficult for patients to obtain a recommendation from their doctors, so I am curious to hear from anyone who has these conditions and has been through the application process.

It is possible it may fall under severe chronic pain! I am sure you must have severe spasms and nausea and vomitting with it. Would be my guess. Hope this info helps you! pr

Thank you all for your help. I am near Ruidoso and will try finding a doctor here first. I do my best to avoid pain-killers so wish me luck!

nekocase if you plan on applying under chronic pain you will need 2 rec.s one primary and another pain specialist. Good luck hope you don't have too hard of a time finding dr.s.
