    it is possible but you aint goin to get as much and your plant will stretch big time most prob. i was thinkin it myself with 105w cfl but i think il wait to get red spectrum.

    well i did some research here on the forum and round one particular thread that cleared any doubt that it is a good light see the light is more than 105 watts its almost 500 watts of power the thread that i read was actually really helpful ill find it here in a few and post a link to it

    hello there

    T5's are really gaining popularity. I use a combo of T12's, CFL's and HID's. One day soon, I'm replacing my HID's with T5's.

    Check out some aquarium lighting for other spectrums too. You can get some bulbs specialized for growing like for example:

    Wave Point Coral Wave Coral Growth Accelerator HO T5 Aquarium Lamp at PETCO

    Have you ever heard of doing a PAR grow? People are getting incredible results going that route.
