First Time and I thought it would be easy

So, I'm sitting around and a friend throws me a couple seeds. He says "Plant this its easy." I take him at his word throw them in some water and then move them to a cup. I see the little thing finally make it above the dirt and I'm excited. Way more excited then I could have ever expected. So, I start to do some research because I don't have a clue what to do now. I found out I need a light. Not sure what to buy I use a 4ft 4 Bulb T5 HO light that I use over my workbench with 6500k lights.

Now there growing and I check on them every day and I continue to read. I'm amazed at the shear amount of information and how much I don't know.
At this point I'm addicted to growing my wife thinks I've lost my mind. I curse my friend every time I think about him saying "Plant this its easy"

Now something is wrong I have no idea what. I start to panic I figure I better ask for help. The leaf is turning blackish. Started at the bottom and on the tip of the leaf. It has now moved further up the leaf and some of the upper leaves have small black spots on the very edges. One of my other plants seems the bottom two leaves turned yellow. Not I think the other leaves are starting to turn yellow too.

I have 4 total and the other 2 seem to be doing fine. Regardless of how these do I'm currently planning my new grow room in the basement. Once I'm sure of what I'm doing.

Cannabis is not the easiest plant to grow. Thats why they make the comparison with tomatoes. Tomatoes and cannabis are a lot alike and both can really be susceptable to rot and disease. One of the easiest mistakes to make is overwatering them. The roots have to be able to absorb oxygen to be healthy.

So there like Tomatoes eh? Maybe the wrong person of my relationship is doing the growing. Probably should have just to handed it over to her to start with.

Your feeding them too much, let the soil dry out and then make sure you lower your ph in the water to 5.6! And is your soil pete free as is burns the roots! Try coco (coconut shavings)
