LED grow NO.2, testing the Pro-Grow 260 and Rhino Seeds.

My (Net) Five are entering 12th week now. Recently added the CO2 and i believe it's making quite the difference, however mine were "stunted" early on by limiting Container size! Looks Good!

That's some crazy humidity; so glad it's so uncharacteristically not humid here in S. Ontario.

I assumed that it was gonna get close to 100% here, so I bought a little Eva-Dry dehumidifier. It's not like the classic dehumidifier design (think it's non-freon) and only raises the temp in

the tent about 5-10F. I know that you're trying to keep heat down, but it beats bud rot.

Or hopefully the balmy weather just pisses off

So all is well again in the tent. There are no more signs of the dreaded bud rot ! So all in all I lost only a few grams to the rot as I caught it early, always look for those brown bud leaves !

After all that happened I only cut out 3 buds. Two were side buds that developed well due to the LSTing I gave the plants, the third bud was a main cola on the Chronic plant

After cutting these 3 buds prematurely I got about 25 - 28 grams dry from them. I was also careful to remove any areas which contained signs of bud rot as it can be dangerous when inhaled.

So an ounce already and there is plenty left in the tent still growing.

To combat the the bud rot I simply left the circulating fan on 24/7 and also the extractor. I also didn't water the plants for a few days to help the larger buds to dry up a little.

I was away for the past 3 days as I was painting my sisters house. I came back an checked the buds for rot but thankfully they showed no signs of further destruction !

So take care all and thank for your concern Easy

    Day 61 of bloom

So here is another photo update of the progress so far.

As I mentioned, the bud rot has stopped in its tracks and I have started to feed the plants a little more than usual over the past few weeks.

It is clear to see by the pictures that there are bus sites all over the tent... Buds are everywhere ! And I still have maybe another 5 weeks left in bloom...

I say another 5 weeks as this is what I learned from my last grow. It seems that under LED the plants take much longer to bloom. I don't really mind though.

What I also learned from the last grow was the buds pack on more during the last 5 weeks. I think I can wait a little longer.

The buds I took from the Chronic plant were very, very nice. There were premature but they pack a good kick in them already... I enjoy the stone from them, its a functional high and rather happy. There is no couch lock. I understand the buds were premature and the trichomes were mostly clear so this adds up to me.

Anyway, I have started to use a lot more of the bat guano and seaweed and tomato fertiliser. The Chronic is a real bud stacker and also the Big Bang. I found the Blue Cheese don't produce as much as the others but there is still a lot of good bud on it and it smells fantastic ! I can't wait to try the Blue Cheese out ! Mmmmm !
I got the seeds from the Rhino Seed company and I definitely think I will be growing a lot more of the Chronic in the future ! It is a big yielder !

So thanks for tuning in and I hope you enjoy the pictures !

Yep, I'd say the axe will be coming out in about a week or so.

I have already taken about 2 ounces in lower buds. Some of the branches were bending over and almost touching the ground so they got the chop.

Nearly on day 65 of bloom so the ladies will be finished very soon. Maybe another 3 weeks and then I start a new grow. I was thinking of going more Indica next grow.

AK48 sound like a good plan. Someone was advising me on auto strains or the bushier Indicas. I want a fast finishing and relatively short plant for my tent.

Short is the way to go I think.

    Thanks for dropping by.

Thats my experience. But it can be hard to convince people that growing less, is more.

    Day 73 of bloom

So hey guys and gals... The time is finally here...

Well, the time has been here quite a while as I have been taking buds from the plants for a while. I took over 120 grams dry so far, at least 4 ounces if not more.

So today I harvested the last 2 Blue Cheese and the Chronic. I gave some smoke to my friends to try out and they were super impressed ! I must say this smoke turned out really great.

I still have the Big Bang plant blooming in the tent. It is a big producer just like the Chronic. One of the Blue Cheese turned out to be quite weak even though it got plenty of light.

The second Blue Cheese turned out very well and gave a very nice main cola. If you remember I had issues with bud rot for a week or so which I fixed quickly.

2 of the plants had their main colas cut down because of this. I think from what is left I will get the 1gpw even though the Blue Cheese didn't perform as well as the Chronic and Big Bang.

I must say that the Chronic and Big Bang 2 are definitely worth checking out. The Blue Cheese has a lovely blueberry hint to it and is a very nice smoke too. Just a lower yield.

So here are some pictures of my harvest today, I still have on more large plant to harvest and I took at least 4 ounces so far. It will be interesting to see how this harvest will look dry.

I'm waiting on more seeds so I'll leave the Big Bang 2 plant in the tent until they arrive. The next seeds I will be using are from the Rhino Seed company just like the current seeds.

I will be trying 4 autoflowering plants, AK47 auto feminised and Blue Treacle automatic feminised. I have hear some great things about the Blue Treacle.
