Anyone ever RETURNED weed?!

I recently hooked up- it had been quite a while since I last scored from this guy, old friend from college who has been growing now for over ten years (I personally cycle in and out of smoking for periods of time). He is very good at it; I've never had anything that matched his quality. Every pound is spoken for b/f he even harvests, and no one ever complains.

So he delivers. Hooks me up fatter than ever, fatter than I deserved, esp. considering I haven't kept in touch lately (I won't get into specifics about price here b.c of geographic diffs would make some of you miss the point-just assume it was a killer deal comparatively). Real nice stuff- loaded with crystals, great taste. You open a jar and the smell floors you.

Now normally I don't smoke a whole, whole lot, especially on my first go of the day (one hitter), but this time, I packed a bowl (in the b), and hit it hard. Cashed it b.f I felt anythng at all. I was thinking omg this is seriously a looong creep- it is going to floor me when it kicks in, and I wanted to take full advantage of it for the first time, so I kept packing. But then I finished the THIRD bowl, started on the FOURTH, and quit before I even had the first hit drawn.

I got fucked up allright, but it SUCKED. I was freezing cold, even outside in the sun w.sweatshirt. My heart was racing, and I had a headache. My first thought was wholly mholy wtf is this shit laced w.? And I don't even feel high in the usual sense, just FUCKED up.

So I took the show on the road and smoked some ppl up who smoke the shit all day everyday to see if they have any clue wtf I just smoked. They hit it, and pretty much laughed at me. They said it was better than the shit they had (one of the guys is a grower himself), and can they have some.

I figured that first time I might have just hit way too much, and my vital signs flying off course was psychosomatic, like maybe I just subconsciously willed myself in that state somehow. So, I experimented again b.f returning it. Just hit my normal amount- this time, no signifcant change in vitals, but still NOT PLEASANT, and NOT my typical high (like where led zep is a multi-senseblasting carnival, and i am compelled to sing and laugh, and sprite tastes like water to someone stranded in the desert- none of that from this).

I don't know why. Obviously not only do different people prefer different strains, but I guess it's possible for people to have even completely differnent reactions to the same stuff. Because I assert very confidently, if they felt what I felt, they wouldn't like it.

Anyways, I returned it, got all my cash back despite what we smoked, not even a restocking fee lol. But it was a haaard call to make to an old friend who grows. I am happy in the sense that he can easily get rid of it, since I am the only one who hates it, but I am left confused as HELL, and left an impression on him like wtf.

THis has NEVER happened to me before. I have many-a-time gone from the chronic to worse weed w./o problem. I mean, even the nastiest, seediest schwagg gets me high. I have never not gotten high from ANY weed. It was almost like it was a different drug altogether, and I supposedly was moving to BETTER herbs.


lol thoughts from anyone who made it this far? any input would be appreciated. i don't put much stock in keeping up w./strain names etc as far as % breakdown or anything, or indica/sativa, but supposedly this is called sugar tooth? he did switch strains he told me, but apparently I am the only one who cared, or noticed ftm.

is it sweet tooth? ill have some if you got some goin spare mate. weeds a personal thing at end of the day. i smoke all day and normally agree with every smoke i buy, but once got this stuff that made me feel fuckin horrible so i did as you did and passed it about an every one else thought it was amazin so there you go, its a personal experience and no doubt unique to every single person who has a go

WOw, so you can relate? When you hit the strain you didn't like, it wasn't as good as a high as the other stuff, or was it that it did not even feel like a "normal" weed high?

Hahah you could have it, but its gone mofo, lol. Gave it back to him. I guess I should have held on to it and just doubled my profits, but I was approaching panic. No matter how much anyone tells you how good it is, if it doesn't do the trick for yourself, you can't convince yourself of it's value, and I didn't want to get stuck w.it. Or have the same thing happen to me- and have ppl trying to bring it back to me lol for their money back (even tho apparently that wouldn't have happened).

Hey man I couldn't read that whole post just now, I gotta run in a second but I will tell you this :

Yesterday one of my "boys" came over and handed me a bag. I told him "dude I'm not going to take this. Here's 5 bucks for gas since you drove all the way here, but this is garbage."

And then I called my other "boy" right in front of him.

I think the first post I ever did on this site was "top ten things i hate about my dealer" and that dealer is the one I sent home yesterday with his tail between his legs.

Now he knows not to even bother callin me unless he's got the good-ness.

The thing that blows my mind is how all your buddies liked it and it made you sick or whatever.

The same thing happed to me last month. My regular dealer stopped dealing so I had to go through someone else. I bought an oz. (my first mistake) and the stuff I got looked and smelled alright. All I can get around here is that Mexican brick weed loaded with seeds but its always gotten me high. Anyway, this stuff didnâ??t smoke well at all. Iâ??m a daily smoker and usually donâ??t smoke more than a bowl or two depending how fried I want to get. After smoking two bowls I felt nothing so I smoked another and I got a little high but it was a totally different kind of high. It wasnâ??t the giddy kind of high that I was used to. It was a very low kind of high (if that makes any sense.) So I ask a friend of mine who is also a daily smoker (she also got some of the same stuff I did) what she thought about it. She said it was all good and she didnâ??t notice the difference. So mean while Iâ??m stuck with this weed that I hate. I canâ??t take it back because the person that got it for me was doing me a favor. But sometimes I think some weed is good and my friend doesnâ??t care for it and other times she will say some weed is really good and I will think it is bad. I think different kinds of weed effects people differently.
