You need PH test strips. They are cheap enough until you can score a $65.00 unit.
Get them where you get pool shit.
Dont fret. the leaves start out straight...But you do need to know the ph of your water.
As to watering, well thats a judgement call. Water when dry.
Lift the pot and feel or sense how dry it is. Dig your finger an inch into the soil. If its dry, water slowly but thoroughly. Water slowly so the water is absorbed...when it starts to leak out the bottom, stop.
Remember the top will always dry first, so you gotta kinda dig a little bit but in time you will learn to lift the pot and you can tell.Any posts made by me are purely fictional in nature and by no means is anything I say to be taken seriously.
