    First Grow- Some random seeds . . . .

F***** up the grow last night, I moved my plant under my boxspring and set up my lights. Also changed the grow container of my plant. This was stressing enough. Although the root ball was still intact, it stressed the plant out. Then once me and my cousin finished the new grow setup we left for about 30 minutes. The damn light fell on my plant and burnt the top and all the new sprouting branches. This stressed it out even more. So I topped it, fertilized it with goat feces and I am prolly doing the epsom salt and water thing to revive my baby.
Also started germinating 5 more bag seeds. I will post pictures of the grow area and the plant...
If this plant dies- lesson learned. If not- this babe getting pampered.

Lol G, I stressed it bad. I moved it, the day it got moved into its new home the light fell on it.. Burned all the top leaves.. So I figured I'd cut all that off that way it wouldn't waste time trying to save itself and it could start fresh. It was a true learning experience.. Hahaha. Yeah too young. But I did it for the best.. It's sprouting new nodes though!

    Her's an update:
The plant sprouted new nodes and is back to healthy, made a compost/fertilizer and put a light dusting of that on it, and added a nice fan to circulate the air. My baby is being positive. Doing good for a slop job rescue and chop off on the thing. Here's some pics!!

This is not how the light is usually on, that's just there for the picture. It's usually over top of the plant.

It's amazing just how resilient there plants are! You can put them through hell, and they usually bounce right back.

I started out indoors with T-12 fluorescent tubes and CFL's. Don't believe the Flouro/CFL haters, you can grow really nice plants with them. You will need several CFL's for each plant for the best results though. I still use CFL's for supplemental side lighting. If you're using a regular incandescent light bulb, it would be best if you switch to something better as soon as you can. As you're already observing, the plant is stretching quite a bit. That's most likely because the bulb isn't producing the proper light spectrum. In this stage of growth (Veg) the plant needs more blue light. As Adiitaff said, if you can get your hands on some CFL's in the 6500K range, you'll be good. 5000K also work pretty well, but 6500K are better.

Did I read that you put some goat manure in with your plant?? It's really not a good idea to use any kind of un-composted (fresh) manures. I don't recall the reasons why, but I'm positive it's N/G. You might not want to do that anymore. Also, different manures have different NPK ratios so be sure to use the right ones at the proper stage of plant growth. For instance, while it's good during Vegetative growth, you wouldn't want to use goat manure during the flowering stage.
Here's a link for some manure NPK values:
    NPK Values in manures

Can you get your hands on a thermometer and a hygrometer? They're imo the two most important tools for an indoor grower. You'll have the best, fastest growth in Veg if you can keep your temps below 78 degrees, and humidity over 55%.

Crap, I gotta run. I'll try to stop back later.

Hey Gnatty! Her's what's up: I have a plant under 2 20 watt spiral bulbs, 2700k a piece. This isn't the best but it seems to be helping the plant bush out and grow healthy. They are sprouting beautiful dark green nodes. The fertilizer I'm using is a mixture of ash, miracle gro, a very small amount of goat droppins, some old straw (rotting) and some rotting leaves. None of it is extremely fresh and it has that rotting smell. The thermometer I have, consistent 72-78 degrees and the hygrometer I do not have. I will be getting some new lighting, as an experiment, and I'll show you details. These will be 2 ballasted heat lamps, 40 watts, 6500k lumens. Nice lights, they are a gift from a neighbor! SO I'll be working hard to set that up. I'll show the new lights once I get em. Thanks

Thanks Derail! Planning on hopefully get 12 more in the ground!! Haha we'll see though. I wanna work on getting a cloning thing set up. But I'm doing a little more reading. Then we'll talk clones. I tied the plant down and it looks great!! Not even stressing. This makes me so happy because its been stressed so much in such a little time period.
Pics tomorrow night I hope phones acting wack.
