My First Grow

Hi there, this is my first grow. I have a 250w bulb running 20 hours each day then off for 4. My cupboard is about 2x4 Feet and im running a small fan inside all the time. The plants AK48 in strain, hopefully this will go well for me and il get plenty of weed. I'm open to any tips or advice as this is my first grow, cheers fellow users :rasta:

may i ask that what bulb are you using? and whats the distance between the bulb and the plant? and whats your wardrobe temp and humidity? plant looks very lanky..

Get the light closer to the plant mate. what light are u using? hps? get it a little closer the plant it stretchin to get more light.

im using one of these man: GE Infrared Reflector 250W Clear (IR250CH) ES/E27 , to be honest im not too sure of the humidity i havent got round to getting a (damn im high and ive for got the name haha), the temperature has been sitting on 25oC with one door open and the fan on, when the doors closed it goes just slightly over the 30oC mark, ive raised the plant up a little and lowered the light a touch, its about a 30cm gap now that ive lowered the lamp.

250W Clear (IR250CH) ES/E27 is a bulb what im using up in da attic in winter time behind da thermostat so that the watertank wouldnt freese.o0 i didnt double check miself here now but i am quit sure that you shouldnt use that bulb.and i dont understand how your grow area only stays around 30c when you have 250w infrared bulb there..sry man im bit lost here

The plants getting on pretty well now, ive been leaving my window open now and the temperatures been sitting at around 27-28oC, this is the only time i'm actually glad of the colder weather where i live now for the first time haha, damn it took me so long to write that, now that im really high i just wanna keep writing but i think il stop now, im going to think wtf when i read this when im sober,d amn

That bulb you are using is a Heat bulb, meant to keep things warm, i.e. Food, small spaces, pets, reptiles, ect... You need to replace that bulb immediately with a CFL from your local hardware store, If the store has one you'd be better to get the 150w Jumbo CFL, about $15 for the jumbo and $11 for a 23w 4 pack. Spectrum should be 6500k for Veg and 2700k for Flower. Your plant is going to be very tall and skinny if you cant get the light closer, and if you try and bringing the light you have any closer its going to cook your AK. You have enough space to for the 1 plant. You may consider painting the walls white for better light reflection.

Just got in home there and the cops came to my house, i just had a very very very close shave, i think someone should make a video tutorial on how to dismantle and hide a grow set up in less than a few minutes! Damn Cops!!!

I snapped the stalk on my baby but it hasn't came apart completely, is it even worth it trying to save her?
