smoking while sick

i was wondering i have a pretty bad sore throat...would it be ok for me to smoke? b/c i really want to but i dont want it to hurt like a bitch

depends on how long you been smoking.....if you stilll cough alot then i would say no it's not a good idea because all that coughing is bound to make it hurt worse....if don't cough that much anymore i would say just take it easy and take a lot of small hits as opposed to filling your lungs with smoke.....the weed it self shouldn't hurt your throat...unless you smokin scwagg or somthin...

Use your own judgement. Obviously, hot smoke will irritate an already soar throat. It will probably delay the healing process. But if you do decide, make sure you have a bottle of water on hand.

yea i dind't think about that.....maybe you should just use a water bong or somthing with ice to cool the smoke a bit...

i smoke when im sick, i get allergies and colds ALOT and smoking makes me just go into a drone like state of mind where i dont feel better i just dont give a fuck that im sick, and you dont get that high when you smoke when your sick

i suppose it would also depend on what kind of sickness you have....whether it be th e flu or just a cold....i always find that smoking when i'm sick makes it not suck as bad and it always help me get better faster...i've heard that it strenghthens the immune system and that would explain why i get sick like maybe once a year since 13 (when i started smoking) because before then i used to get sick all the damn time.....i've never really gotten any shots either...just the ones when i was younger....and i still only get sick like once a year...except for the year when i had to stop completely...after a few months i got sick...and about 4 more times that year....so yea i'd say it helps the immune system based on my own experience.....

hell yhea ,, smoke smoke smoke till you cant smoke any more,, i had mono for 3 weeks and the most discusting looking throat and i smoked ,, it helped my throat to not hurt so much.

Ya smoke, but take little tokes. THe bigger the toke, the more it will hurt after the toke. Just drink water after you get the spliff in the rotation, and you'll be good to go. I had a throat infection like 3-4 weeks ago, and i was home for like 5 days, so i just smoked like 2-3 blunts a day, hurt like hell when smoking, but then i realized just drinking ice cold water makes you feel so good when smoking with a joint or blunt.
