deficiancy of some sort
well folks here is my info.
I am growing indoors in soil(miracle grow, and topsoil mix, perlite) tap water is at 200ppm 7.0ph
plants are 2.5 weeks into flower, i am using foxfarm tiger and foxfarm bigbloom every other water, and foxfarm grow big every other feeding, 850ppm and 6.0 ph going in. and 6.5 and 700 ppm runoff. the humidity is 45%, the temp at the Attachment 283695Attachment 283696Attachment 283697Attachment 283698canopy is 78-81 degrees, running 3 600 watt hps.
I was hoping someone could help me, This is my first soil grow(usually a hydro guy just thought i would try soil) and iam growing hawaiian snow and skunk #1. I am having no problems with the skunk #1 but as can be seen from the pics something is happening with the hawaiian snow. I want to say maybe magnesium but thought I would consult some more expert opinions, I have at least 10 weeks to go on the snow and thats a lot of stress for 10 more weeks. any help would be great.

I agree. You may have a chlorine issue with your water so let it sit for a few days or use bottled water. The ppm won't change much since it gives a reading of "total metals". Your Mg may be 50ppm while total metals is 200. Up your 200ppm water to 400ppm with Cal-Mag, up the mix the to 700-800ppm with ferts. Your pH and ppm are in a good range

Going to start cal mag this feeding the bitch of it is i had cal mag the whole time, oh well (valuable experience). I lost most fan leaves, april 23 will be 6 weeks, the buckets do have several holes, I usually let the water sit over night but will start 2 nights ahead. The skunk #1 is going strong but that sativa is just so touchy, well now I now for next time. thanks for the replys

NOT calmag. Yes deficiency. Question is, are you not giving them enough of something or too much or ..since its soil... is your soil mix contaminated? More likely its a weak rhizosphere... Ask yourself? what do my roots look like? Weak brown roots means you have a bad Rhizosphere and that will just make your plants weak over all. I see more than one deficiency and I'm sure you are giveing them nutes that cover most of what they need. The whole basis to success is the Rhizosphere microbial strength and I can't stress that enough in soil grows. Next problem is that you did not carry the vegitative long enough into bloom. Most people do the week of transition and that is WRONG. You have to continue the nitrogen and all the rest about two weeks past transition to keep the plants fed well at a time when they are making a major growth spurt. My guess is thats your real problem. Give them some kelp based organic products for a week or two and they will do better but really... next run try giving them a strong microbial rhizosphere and carry veg 2 weeks past transition and taper off to pure bloom.
