    Firs hydro grow ebb monster

    I have quite a few soil grows under my belt amd about to set up a hydro grow... I goning to get the ebb monster 12 site

    My question is do I need a chiller for this system?

    It may depend on where you live. If your setup is in a room or basement that has A/C running at 70 degrees.
    Then no.
    Some places may be more concerned about heating. Friends to the North know.

    But if you live in a warmer area I would say a solid yes. When you run a chiller you don't have to worry so much about ambient temps. No more violent temp swings that cause problems that are hard to get under control.
    The temps of your room can be higher for CO2 because your water stays cool.

    We are in a hot area and use ebb and grow reg with 30 to 40 gallons rez. Hydrofarm 1/10 chiller and the smallest pump they reccomend. I think a 185 gph. They can keep the temps between 68 and 70 in 100 degrees ambient temps and 90 percent humidity. Just give them air to circulate so they can do there job.

    You will not be sorry.
