pruning??
I would top it now. Any later and you may risk herming. If you can, Id try bending the top over. Pinching the top just below the newest growth so it falls over, do not break it. It takes about 5 days for it to stand back up. But by this time you should have another top roughly the same size. You can chop it completely, jus be mindful of stress.
