Lame Cola.. I think - pics
Heres some pics of a plant I have growing at 51 days of flowering (just over 7 weeks), specifically the top cola. I'm thinkin this thing must have been subject to some light leaks or something... even though I know I don't have any light leaks in the flowering room that shes in, but perhaps the door had been opened at night by someone other than me when it shouldn't have been...
Basically the issues I have with this thing that isn't exactly normal to this strain is that the top cola seems to be somewhat stretched out, or loose perhaps for lack of a better word. It appears immature at the top and under developed, at least to me, maybe its just this specific plant this time and the way it decided to grow.. In addition to that, I'm kinda confused as to why the top cola got so leafy with the single blade leaves all around it. Not sure what the cause of that was but typically it shouldn't be as leafy as it is.
Overall I am satisfied with the plant, I just wish these couple things were different. Here are some pics of what I am talking about. Unfortunately the pictures maybe don't show it was well as I'd like but hopefully you'll understand. Be sure to let me know if I am just being paranoid and shouldn't bother searching out a problem that doesn't really exist haha.

I think your probably right man ! A few of my ladies did that too ! At first I thought it was strain but had another plant near of the same strain that did not do this top head bud stretch ! Well I hope there's no male pods in there dude because that plant that did this weird top head bud stretch thing I found poped male pods . And the strange thing was that I found them only around the top where the stretch was . If you don't get these then I would have to say its the strain . Or you have a very resilient fem strain that's not hermi prone .

No male pods on it, and it is typical for hermies to be dominantly male/female in different sections of the plant, like top vs. bottom. Being that the plant is at 7 weeks into flowering, and the top looks less mature than the bottom, perhaps there will be time left for the top cola to fill in a little bit more. Another thing was that until recently it had grown a bit too close to my light, but not close enough to notice any rapid heat stress. So it could have been low amounts of heat stress over time. I am also still unsure on the exact flowering time for this strain until this one is finished, thats the purpose of flowering this one out without any others.
Id be surprised if it was a light leak issue, since there are no constant light leaks in my room, and if my girlfriend had opened the door at all, it probably only would have been once or twice, early on in flowering, and only for a few seconds. Oh well, she's still doing pretty damn well.

Well, speakin of hermies... last night I discovered that a plant sitting next to the one I posted pictures of is a hermy. I found one open pollen sack, which sucks since I couldn't find it in time before it forcefully released pollen. I'm thinking perhaps has something to do with it if the pollen could've spread to the top cola of this plant.
