Finally charged!
Hi all
Caught by accident at home in Dec 11 and bailed to return beginning Feb 12 but no one was ready to see me but last night an officer hand delivered a new bail notice to return today @ 9am (gits but he didn't smell what I was smoking inside :thumbsup.
Ended up being charged today for growing 9 plants (personal), would have been cautioned but had previous from a grow 20 years ago. Expecting a band c fine next week as I can use my ace and say it's for "medical purposes" as I had cancer which balances out my previous conviction. From end Feb 12 new sentencing guidelines put me in the lowest category band fine and the max. penalty is medium CS (will remind the magistrates to follow these guidelines).
First grow was a small fine no questions asked in 92.
Debating when to start again (prefer to move first). :rasta:

Oh my god got a f'ing CONDITIONAL DISCHARGE FOR ONE YEAR plus £85 court costs! According to the sentencing guidelines starting point was Band C fine (A to C, C is the highest) but played my ace (sorry keeping that off air just to avoid being in the national splash) and they fell into the trap. I guided the duty solicitor to what bracket I fell into (she originally told me 18 months in crown because she was looking at the wrong bracket). The bench disregarded my past 19 year old conviction for the same offence (interesting but makes sense).
Conditional discharge is the lowest conviction and basically means nothing (ok I can't go to court for anything for a year including motoring offences that bring me to the court room).
This clearly proves anything can happen good or bad. To be fair I was very lucky as the day went my way all day (maybe disclose at a later stage, first objective not to be caught by work so don't want the national splash getting wind of this hence will only be writing this version for now).
