If shes at 6 weeks of flowering and your pistils are over halfway changed over to orange, then I wouldn't be too worried about a hermy problem, especially if its the only exposure to light during dark periods, she shouldn't suffer a whole lot of stress from that. If anything, yes you might find a couple little pollen sacks that you can remove without problems as long as you're careful. Otherwise I don't think it has enough time left to really develop a devastating amount of male parts, but I could definitely be wrong. I don't have much experience dealing with hermies, in fact I really have none.. until now. I just identified one male part on one of my females that is about 5 weeks into flowering. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until it had already opened, and I searched pretty hard and only found the one pollen sack.. so I'm not sure how mine will turn out. I think I am going to keep it alive until I notice problems or find anymore male parts.

Also, I'm glad someone mentioned to you that smaller plants/smaller buds do not ripen faster. I think a lot of people assume otherwise and try to grow small plants and harvest them when they're too young. The only time saving part of growing small plants is the veg period, which can further be reduced by cloning. Good luck with everything man. And.. chocolate mango for a smell? Thats interesting haha.
She is... 5 weeks into flowering now (it's from the time the first pistils are visible right? she was vegged under natural sunlight 12/12 anyway). I haven't seen any pollen sacks, but I haven't checked her so closely, how big/small are they? I've never seen them before.... yeah, it was some street light and I left her out for about 4 hours tops. Hopefully it's all good. Chocolate mango is not a good mix to be honest, but its nice if I focus on one or the other smell, lol.

Thanks for your insightful response!
daozen Reviewed by daozen on . Time to harvest? PICS! It's only been 4 weeks of flowering but it's a tiny plant grown on a 5-inch pot, and the trichomes seem to be getting milky... Is it going to be ready in a few days or a couple of weeks? ps. There's also pics of my other 3 plants, 2 of them doing pretty bad, but it was down to soggy soil (bad mix from the start) and overfertilization (probably as result of poor drainage), I took them out of their pots , carefully ran the faucet over the roots for a while and then trasnplanted them to a bit Rating: 5
