DWC - Undercurrent

Hello fellow growers and info goers, I have a new setup going up in a few weeks. I have been doing some research, and found that the DWC is by far the easiest and cheapest to build and operate. I have 6 plant buskets and a main reservoir, 3/4â?� tubing connecting the buskets to the reservoir. 6 air stones, 1, 4 way air pump and another 2 way air pump. 2, 600w HID lamps, switchable (MH/HPS) Wired 240v. Room/Tent is 6â??x10â??x7â?? Temp is roughly around 77 degrees. I have a friend that has added to his DWC setup, what he likes to call â??Undercurrentâ?�, which essentially uses a water pump to recirculate the nutes thru the tubes and buskets to keep the nutes mixed at all times, and also keeps from having stagnant water. I have never heard of the â??Undercurrentâ?� but I love to experiment.


Nutes: Botanicare:

1. Pure Blend Pro Grow 3-2-4 for Veg.
2. Pure Blend Pro Bloom 2-3-5 for Flower.
3. Cal-Mag 2-0-0 for lack thereof.
4. Liquid Karma 0.1-0.1-0.5 for Micro Nutes.
5. Hydroplex® 0-10-6 to stop fungal growth inside res.
6. Silica Blast to strengthen plants.
7. Clearex for flushing.

I also use FoxFarm water soluble's Tri Pack: FoxFarm Soil & Fertilizer Company.

Heres a few pics of the Clones goin on their 5th week of Veg. Im going to flower in 2 weeks. They're 20" now, goin for 24"

Strains: Agent Orange, White Siberian, Sour Willie, Sour Cream, Sour D, and Bruce Banner #3. The labels are inside the 4" basket, I forgot to relabel em, so I wont know what they are until Flower.. lol
