Plants are dying
what kind of soil it is is actually pretty darned important
.. you typically want finer grains, sphagnum moss is good.. fox farms soils are good. then you mix that with pearlite. the wood that I can see in your photo should not be there at all. they don't really support micro life.. which is where a soil grow gets most of its nutrients once the plant has pulled what it can from its surroundings. the little microbes keep breaking down the organic material into nutrients useable by the plant. you can probably grow in that, but it will be more like hydroponics, where you have to feed them with a nutrient mix, and its possible the wood will soak up salts, and eventually poison your plant..

Plants are dying Well, last night I asked my brother to go get me a fluorescent light and he came back with a plant light apparently but he didn't tell me it was 50 watts so this morning when I went to turn the lights off they're all just laying on the ground looking dead. I watered then hoping that could help. They've all grown their first two leaves and are still in their small cups. I really need help to rescue these fellas can someone help me? I already took out the other light and let them sleep for the Rating: 5
