    flowering question

okay so i have two 6 week old kush plants. i left one in vegg under 24/0, and put the other one in flower under 12/12 2 days ago. they both sprouted at the same time, but are different in hight. the plant i chose to flower stands about 11" with 7 nobes and 6 new grown branches growing in between the main stem and the branch of the fan leaves. im guessing this is normal being this is my second grow. my first grow didnt make it thus far in vegg before they pasted. so i introdused 12/12 to the biggest plant first to get the hang of flowering such delicet plants lol. but i am noticing that my baby that is under 12/12 isnt smelling as strong as it use to. this is making me very nervous, i don't know if its reacting this way due to the dark spell, or is it because of the temp drop during the dark period??? another question for you experinced growers, thus being only day 3 in the flower period, should i be looking out for it showing me its sex or just keep handling my business, and in bout a week start looking for the lil white hairs?? i have read in other threads that a male will show sex first, question to that is how early will a male show before a female??? . . . . . .oh and another question, do i need the fan on during the dark period??? i been woundering that for the longest. please help me out anything helps

    flowering question

I wouldn't worry much about the smell. Some plants don't get real fragrant until like week 4-5 in to flower so hang in there as long as they look healthy. I've only grown from seed few times so I'm not the best to answer the question on the length for sex to show. From my experience my ladies usually show their hairs in a week to 2 weeks. If you know what a female looks like you'll have no trouble picking out the males if there are any. I do know that you should check several times a day because those pesky males will develop those sacks and blow their loads all over your ladies within a day of growing the pollen sacks. lol. so be diligent. that fan will make sure the pollen gets dispersed throughout the garden too so that's another reason to check frequently. The fan is great at all times as long as it osculates. Good luck my friend and I hope this helps. Keep us updated!
