So I was just doing some choppin' for my first harvest since I built my 2nd new flowering room and I'm pretty excited about it so I figured I'd post some pictures for everyone to enjoy. Being that I just chopped her down today she is still fully moist, so using the pictures posted below, take a guess at what the finished dry weight will be. If you guess the weight correctly, you could win a prize! Woooooo!! Make sure to let me know what you think of the buds I grew, I can't wait to smoke them. I'm hoping for at least 2lbs out of this harvest. Note that everything harvested is in the picture, nothing is hidden off camera. Hope you guys love the pics, and they don't make you drool too much!

Hey,
I'm not 100% of what I'm looking at here. I don't mean to sound weird but I'm certainly a bit confused.

Is the first picture a picture of one of your finished buds ? Or is the first picture what is left on the branch after you took the bud away ?

I'm very confused. Can you tell me what sort of a light you are using and the wattage ? Pot size ? Something just doesn't seem right here.

Is the plant that is hanging upside down the finished product that you are harvesting ? How long did you have the plant under 12/12 lighting ?

Do you think you harvested a little early ? I don't want to sound smart or anything as we are all learning here. But something is definitely wrong here.

Compare the buds in my grow log to yours and see if they are the same for the time our plants we in bloom. The link is in my signature.

I hope I didn't sound condescending as I didn't intend to. I'm just a little worried that you harvested way too early. Or maybe there is another issue.

Hey Minnesnowta

I am not thread jacking here by posting my own pictures of my buds. I just want you to see that you harvested weeks if not months too early.

The below pictures are of my buds and were taken 2 weeks ago. These buds of mine are still not ready for harvest even after 11 weeks since I saw pistils.

You must have harvested only a couple of weeks since you saw pistils on your plant. The buds haven't even developed yet.

I don't know whether you are having a bit of fun with us all here or really being serious with us.

Anyway, either way, you made a bad choice killing your plant and you definitely won't get in any way stoned off it. Trichomes have hardly even developed yet.

Time to do a lot more research before your next grow.

Ok.... Silent Leprechaun.. you ruined my fun by being too nice about this thread, haha. You could've just came out and said "uhhh dude.. wtf are you doing??? And whatever you are doing, don't do it again." This thread was just a joke. I chopped down that femle today because I wasn't happy with it and didn't expect it to really produce anything worth the time and money I'd spend growing it. She was too large and gangly and since I built my new flower room, my veg room is getting backed up with plants that need to be moved into flowering, so I really needed the space she was taking up. I just thought I would be funny because she was just developed enough to kinda have buds on her that someone COULD potentially think is ready to smoke, so I figured if I posted it and said that it was my harvest that it would be believable that I was serious. Apparently it was a little bit too believable, haha. At least we learned one thing here today... and its that you're a friendly leprechaun, and not hostile like the leprechauns I've always gotta chase out of my garage with a broom. You're just too nice of a guy haha I would have felt bad if I continued the joke and had you feeling sorry for me.

Its kinda funny though in the close up pictures it actually looks like it had potential to be decent bud, but who knows. I didn't know the strain of that either it just came from a friend so it was pretty worthless anyways. Maybe people will still just read my first post in this thread and reply based on that, and I'll still get some funny responses here until everyone figures out it wasn't serious. But really though.... Do you think I'll have a few pounds once I dry that out? hahahaha

Nice pics btw Lep. I don't have anything that far along in flowering right now sadly. The delays in building my 2nd flowering room really set me back and kinda messed up my schedule so my veg room is getting kinda backed up. One of my plants is about halfway along right now and shes the furthest of them all. The rest are anywhere between 1-3 weeks.

Nice pics

Lots of bud sites on that plant on the right. Your light has good penetration.

I made a mistake in letting my grow room become too stuffy and the canopy was too thick to leave good light through.

I killed off a few plants and left the 2 strongest. They exploded after doing that. Can't wait for after the cure. yummy. I took a sacrificial limb a couple of days ago for a quick dry.

Thats why I chopped down the one pictured above in my first post. I had trimmed it so much to allow light and what not that I figured it would probably herm out on me. Even after trimming half the damn plant away it was still casting shadows, thats when I decided it was time to die.
