Pure DXM powder is the same as anything that only as DXM as the active ingredient, such as DexAlone and Robitussin Max Cough. The only difference is that it will hit you faster because of the faster absorbtion rate. And I wouldn't suggest snorting it. It very well could be smooth, I don't know, but your lungs are likely to bleed.
