Help
Hello
I would like some advice on my plants at this point I think one of them is starting to die here is my set up.
This is my first grow.
I am growing in a Sandusky metal closet it is 6?? tall, 3?? wide, and 18? deep it has one shelf in it.
At the top I have 3 lights mounted they came from wal-mart and are T8 Lights 2 are 75watt output (17watt) 24? plant lights and 1 is a 75watt output (17watt) 24? reg light. They are hard mounted in the top I have room for one more light up top. I move the shelf up and down to adjust the height of the lights to plant ratio.
Inside the cabinet I also have a humidifier which I have not had to use since I transplanted them, along with a wireless temp and hum gauge. I also have a thermostat hooked up to a small heater that kicks on when the temp falls below 75* and kicks off when it reaches 80*. So far we have been able to keep the temp right around 75 and the hum between 50% and 70%. I have them on 18hrs of light and 6hrs of dark.
I bought the seeds online and are feminized and are Jack strain we started them in jiffy pots and transplanted them into 10? pots after 1 week. Before we transplanted them the leaves started to turn yellow in the center. After a couple of days in their new pots one seemed to bounce back but the other one leaves started to curl up a little. We are using Miracle Grow Moisture Control Soil and I have them about 5 inches from the lights ATM.
This is the one with the curled up leaves and yellow in the center and the stem looks like it is shriveling up
This is the healthier one, but the stem looks alittle thin too
So any advice you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated.raebop Reviewed by raebop on . Just alittle more information I forgot to add, we tested our tap water with our aquarium water tester and the water is between 6.5-7.0 ph. I leave it our for several days to get the chlorine out before using it. I only water every other day and only maybe 1/2 cup the soil never seems dry.
I currently don't have any ventilation, I was thinking about adding some computer fans, but the closet gets opened 2-3 times a day to check on everything which should keep the air fresh?
If these plants dye I will try again but would like to correct any mistakes first.
Please any advise would be appreciated

Help
After looking around online I think maybe my seedling are suffering from damping off, at least that is what it looks similar too. I don't know if they will make it. They first one is leaning over and the other one is starting to get yellowish leaves and thin stem like the first one did afew days ago.
What can I do to prevent this next time? What can I do to improve my setup? Do I have sufficient lighting? Please any advise

Im going out on a limb and thinking it has alot to do with watering and your soil. For starters i would personally use a seedstarter medium in a small container (alot of people use solo cups) while its in the seedling stage. MG tends to run too hot for most seedlings. Your seedlings look to be in a pretty big pot right now. This can cause you alot of problems when it comes to watering. Over watering especially. Your lights are sufficient for the little ones but once they get bigger you will need more light. More light=more heat. You will definitely need some kind of ventilation.
Check out alot of the grow logs on here and you will find alot of info. Especially check out some of the First grow logs. Alot of people have added alot of great info to them that will help you figure things out. Good Luck!
