New to growing. How does my plant look?
So far, I think I'm doing pretty good. I usually just leave him in the window sill and water him every once in a while. What do you guys think? any advice?

advice?
read.
Your plant is going to die soon. Sitting in the windowsill isnt enough light. Cannabis is not a shade loving plant. If you want to actually grow it (and what is the point of doing it unless you are actually going to do it, amirite?), invest in some lighting, a small circulation fan, and temperature control means. Half-assery wont cut it here, I'm afraid. And if you are living with your parents and experimenting with a seed you found in a bag, do yourself a favor and dump it now. No sense getting your parents in trouble for something you're not really into anyway.

Must agree with the above from KingJ.
If you aren't willing to put in the research and an monitory investment before you begin then don't start at all.
I made a grow journal if you care to follow it. You wont be able to do this if you live with mammy and daddy.
You even put your plant in a glass jar ! Where does the run off water go ? Stays in the jar and rots the roots ?
It's clear that you haven't done any research before you began as you are making such basic mistakes.
Your plant will not last long in a glass jar. How will you re-pot without damaging the root system ? Break the glass in case of emergency !
Do some research on this site or other sites. Jumping into this without learning will just turn all that waiting and anticipation into a a waste of time.

Damn guys, I'm just experimenting. I don't expect too much out of it. I'm planning on moving it outside after its strong enough. And by the way, I've actually done TONS of research, but due to my current situation, none of it is possible. I don't expect a huge harvest, and by no means am I an "expert grower". Thanks for trying to help me with it, but trash it? what's the point? I have it this far, why not see where it goes? Maybe it will completely bomb, but its not like I don't know that that is a possibility. I made this post to more see if it looked healthy so far, and neither of you did say that it looked unhealthy, so I'm assuming it does, which is what I was curious about.

it doesnt look unhealthy, for now. Did you read my post about glass jars and root rot ?
I would be interested to see the TON of research you did. No offence but the picture alone speaks for itself.
Your plant will soon drown in the soil as there is no holes on the jar. Or the roots will simply rot in the saturated, oxygen depleted soil.
When have you ever bought a plant in a glass jar from a garden centre ? This is common knowledge for anyone who owns a common house plant.
At the bottom of my post is a link to my blog spot called LED Logger.
I would strongly suggest you read from day one all the way to end of bloom. I made the journal in very simple language so everyone can understand it.
You will see the result of the grow too. I am no pro grower to be honest, but I still got very good results. I don't know how well yet as harvest is yet to come.
Learn from others like we all did. Every part of a grow is important, light type and distance, soil type, PH, and mix, temperature and humidity, fertilisers, pot sizes etc etc.
A failure on any of these factors will be the downfall of your grow, a chain is only as strong as its weakest link.
This is the best advice I can give you, I hope it helps. Read my instructional journal. You shouldn't go wrong.
Take care

I did read your post about root rot, and it all makes sense, but for now I'm just getting it started in there, as it was all that was available, and am planning to transport it outside within a week or so. I am learning, and was looking for more input than criticism. But honestly, thank you. I will check out your blog, and read over it. Again, thanks.
