Enough light to grow 2 plants.
Beginninger grower here, got everything down except the lights, i'm very un easy about em because they're the most expensive part of this.
I have a couple choices, my preference would either be
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...A1TQQ4ZHI2444B I can buy 2 of these if 1 isn't enough
or
Amazon.com: Sun System® HPS 150 Grow Light Fixture: Home Improvement
my question is would just one of either of these be enough to grow 2 plants from seedling to harvest if I build adequite reflection surrounding the plants or will I need a stronger light like a HPS or MH 400w,
I also read somewhere that i can just get 3 CFL's about 26 watts each 3 for each plant and place them around the plants and they will get adequite light.
Please and thank you, Smoke on my friends.Fwish Reviewed by Fwish on . Enough light to grow 2 plants. Can't find an edit button wanted to throw this in at the end as well
If i bought 3 fixtures for 3 CFL's Positioning them in a triangle formation around the 2 plants with the one 150 HPS or 150 CFL above, Would that be adequite light for the entire season?

Your light question is hard to answer. It all depends on the size of your plants. If you kept them med to small 100watts per plant should do you ok. IMO

If you have in issue with running costs, go with the CFL, you'll need at least 2. It all depends on the plants nutrient uptake and size of the grow area. The 100w HPS is more has more Lumens, which means more light. But it does cost more to run. The CFL is much more energy efficent but lacks the amount of lumens for vigorous growth. It all depends on the amount of space, plants, and nutrient uptake. If using a low wattage light setup, youll want to start at 1/4 strength nutes and work your way up. So as not to stress the lil ones.
Hope this helps.
