sad man here
Well, whenever there is a police encounter, make sure that you have nothing in plain sight. When you are driving, swallow the blunt and your stash! I recommend not driving with a pipe or anything. Actually, I don't recommend driving high at all but I do. Also, it is always good to have some emergency incense in your car. If you cant swallow your stash, hide it in the glove compartment and the same thing goes for a pipe.
Never answer questions without the presence of a lawyer!! You have the right to remain silent and never consent to ANY searches of you or your belongings. If they say "well you have nothing to hide do you?", say "no but I am upholding my 4th amendment right and do not consent to any searches". Try to be cool and as calm as possible because the cop is trying to break you down. Do not let him intimidate you. He will probably say "well I will get a warrant and a dog, so you better let me search". The reason why he says that is because HE DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH EVIDENCE and he wants you to consent so you can incriminate yourself.
The cop will become cautious because you know your rights and will probably back off a little. Most people who get busted did not know their rights and the cops are fully aware of this. Thats why they ask you questions because when they do, they do not have enough evidence or even probable cause to charge you with something so they want you to incriminate yourself.
