Peyote

I've had peruvian torch but didn't have enough, I boiled it down for at least 5 hours aswell, all that time and no reward, bollox.
I always thought the 'permafried' folks are the ones with latent psychological problems that get bought on by psychedelix, in my opinion shrooms were stronger on the open eyed visuals and bodyload, peyote had incredibly detailed closed eye visuals and u'd open them and see things relatively normal, except for the sounds, auras and a general feeling of the space around me being huge, but all of that just seemed normal, hard to explain, didn't get what Huxley meant when he said 'this is the way you were meant to see' about the mescaline experience, but fuck me you understand when ure under the influence
As for the taste, not as bad as every1 goes on about, I wouldn't say I'd snack on peyote or san pedro if I felt peckish, but defineatly nuffin along the lines of the worst thing I ever tasted, did make me puke when I was coming up hard, but after that everythin took on a new glow, takes a long time to come on, took around 3 hours for me, then its about 5 mins before ure peaking lol Where u from Uptown and supersonic?

It is natural to puke on peyote though I'm told, once the vomititing is over the real "enlightenment" begins...or so i'm told. i am from natural ol NYC! and you? UK perhaps using bollox haven't heard that 1 in awhile! LOL

Nevada. I guess I'm not really to worried about not coming down, because I did acid a bunch when I was younger and I'm sure acid is right up there with peyote.

the experiences are similar so yeah it is right up there, they are different as peyote is different from psilocybin is differnt from ibogaine, etc etc. Peyote, from what i hear, is more akin to LSD in that it lasts up to 12 hrs and produces a similiar state of enlightenment. Defintely not for the weak of heart, and defintely want to do it OUTDOORS if at all possible with a good 36 hrs on your hand...12 n up to trip n the rest to recuperate!!

I'm sure it is up there, but grinding up san pedro cactus and cooking it into a frothy green mush sounds just as bad. Peyote, the actual buttons, taste pretty foul too...but that's the way to do it unless you can grind them in pills. Can't grind san pedro in pills because of the amount needed. Yeah why anybody would do dxm other than powder or gelcaps is beyond me, cough syrup lemon xtract all sounds like ass!!! LOL

well coming from someone who's done it iw ould way rather do the peyote shyt then ever drinkt hat again...it doens't end up tasting like lemon....i get boiled down to the point to where it gets bitter but still has that mouth quenching sourness in it....then add in the already bad taste of the dxm extract (starts off as dxm and zippo fluid until you boil it off) and it just turns into what i call butt juice....cuz i'd damn sure lick an ass before i'd drink that stuff again....worse thing abou tit....i didn't use nough cough syrup and i didn't even get a buzz off it lol! made me feel so damn stuipd and i wasn't about to do it again.....
