After 25 years running a breed specific rescue operation for these dogs I have tired of seeing this.
If you feel you need a canine to " guard" then please choose a different breed , and perchance reflect on what typically happens to the given canine utilised for such purposes in the eventuality of a rip or a raid , in the latter it's very very likely that they'll just kill the dog or dogs right off the jump.
