    SPIDER MITES

wishing all fellow growers a great harvest..just beginning myself..have alot to learn..it seems that way anyway..
SPIDER MITES CAME INTO MY ROOM BY WAY OF TRANSIT FROM ANOTHER GROWER . I didn't realize it at the time. I treated three days ago w/ MITE-RID..then again today..is it safe to use during lighting?? I ordered Liquid Ladybug which should arrive soon..I have specific directions on the use of it but no info on the MITE-RID..wow do I HATE these PESTS..I don't really have LARGE colonies or severe infestation, and seem to do well killing them off w/ the treatments, but I can still see some activity with-in two days..
AM I FOREVER GOING TO BE FIGHTING THESE NASTY THINGS IN MY ROOM???

I had this I tried everything but nOthing worked till I got this stuff from out of state called fly-x. They definitely suck. I'd say to Remove the lower leaves, remove any leaf that has any evidence of mites. Sanitize EVERYTHING. Wash your plant with dawn, bomb the room. And you might be ok. Ever since my mite issue, I am very strict with my grow area. Nobody goes into my grow room unless at the bare minimum they take their shoes off. And inspect daily.Sounds crazy but I have them at bay. Get a microscope.

Me too - I don't give tours. No one goes into my grow room b/c no one knows about it! Public knowledge is a sure fire way to attract unwanted attention and / or a grow jack. Exercise caution folks. Tell no one. It's not your friends you have to worry about, it's your friends friends friends... word travels.

As someone who comes from a family who has been involved with the APBT for six generations. If you have an APBT that will actually bite a human then you have an anomaly within the breed , such anomalies within the breed and folks utilising them as "guard dogs" and the like are ultimately repsonsible for the negative view of the dogs and the media crapstorm we currently suffer under. These dogs are not supposed to show human aggression *period* , and no I will not argue this with you. After 25 years running a breed specific rescue operation for these dogs I have tired of seeing this.

If you feel you need a canine to " guard" then please choose a different breed , and perchance reflect on what typically happens to the given canine utilised for such purposes in the eventuality of a rip or a raid , in the latter it's very very likely that they'll just kill the dog or dogs right off the jump.

As regards the spider mite issue , some here may wish to explore the usage of SNS217. I have found it to be quite effective and it will disrupt the reproductive cycle.
