Thanks for the replies... I am running both hoods side-by-side. One side of each hood will be left open and the other side of each hood has about 2-feet of 8" duct run into a 8" y-connector. From the Y there is about a foot more duct that runs into my 8" blower. From the blower on the duct runs into the ceiling and in to the next room. The total run of duct is only 7'. The fresh air enters in from the door being left open. The room the fresh air comes from stays around 62 degrees at all times. I'm thinking my blower is plenty big enough to pull air from the next room through my lights. I also have two box fans in the room running at all times to keep air circulating.
jon420 Reviewed by jon420 on . best way to ventilate??? I am running 2-600watt SunPulse 3k in 2-8" air-cooled hoods. I have a 8" 720 cfm fan that I will be cooling the lights with. The room size is 10'x13'x7.5' and there are no windows, just a door. The air in the next room is a consistant 62 degrees. My question is this: What is the most affective way to keep this room COOL with ventilation??? Smell is not an issue. Rating: 5
