    Male or Female?

As much of an experienced grower I have become to be, I hate growing bagseed. I'm not sure if it's my lack of patientce with finding out its a male, or the amount of TLC time ive wasted for a damn male. Either way...I posted pics last week of a 1 wk flowering plant which turned out to be male.

This one has been in now 5 days flowering....now I ask can you tell if it's a male or female? I've gone ahead an uploaded some detailed pics.

    Male or Female?

Its probably a day or two too early to tell yet. That little pecker stickin out will slightly change shape and either get more round, or more like a sharper tear drop. I'm gonna call female on that thing though, that's what it looks like to me, at least from looking at the little nub on the right side of the stem. The one on the left is a little bit concerning but its young, so who knows. I notice a couple other factors from your plants that have me thinking its a female, but I'll keep those to myself because I am researching it myself in hopes of being able to accurately identify females earlier. Once I know I am right I will post a thread explaining it in detail, if I am wrong then.. at least nobody knows so nobody can tell me I'm wrong hahaha.

Anyways, just putting it out there that I am calling yours a female, please make sure you let me know in a few days if I was right or wrong. I would love it know.

I think it's too young to tell, and you shouldn't flower until it is is mature enough to show clear signs of sex. Otherwise you might end up getting a hermaphrodite.

Funny, works jus' fine up in here.
    Perhaps you are mis-configured.?

    Here's a workaround;

Highlite the text you wish to quote.
Then hold down the control key and tap C. ^C = copy
Drop your cursor into the reply box where you want the quote to appear, and do the same for the letter V. ^V = paste.

    That work just about everywhere.

I'll go snag a piece of your message with it.

"how the hell do you quote someone in your posts..."

    That's how.

    Aloha,
    Wee 'zard

And just to stay on topic, looks male to me.

Try holding a small flashlight behind the main stem at the node.
Shine the light through the stalk. You are looking for a tiny stem on the pre-popped flower.
A ball, will be female. A teardrop shape with a tiny stem is a male.

    Those pics look very familiar.
    I've seen them before somewhere.
    Where'd you get them?
