Is weed supposed to make you hallucinate?

Okay so some people say you hallucinate from weed, and some people say you don't. This is my story.


At my cousins house, we were all smoking weed (including his mom...) when after 5 or 6 pipe hits I suddenly started feeling like what I was seeing was different than what I was feeling. Like I was on top of a green screen or something like that. Thats when my cousin got the bong ready... after 2 or 3 hits of that thing, ohhhh shit i was outta there. You know how in grand theft auto theres the HUD with your weapon and money and stuff? well... thats what I was seeing, and then i felt like i pulled an AK-47 out of my jacket and I shot everyone in the room and then just burst out laughing.

This is the point of where I blacked out, so this is coming from what my cousins and my friends told me.


Apparently I was just sitting there and I was like oh shit... I just got in a plane. We're all flying away right now, and now we're over the ocean. OH SHIT I JUST JUMPED OUT. There's the water... now i'm underwater, and theres tons of sharks. Then I got out my gun and shot all of them apparently.

Apparently I made up like 50 raps about chips, munchies, getting a card, and bitches.


Is weed like supposed to do shit like this to you? I NEVER get high like this with other peoples weed.

Well, to help answer your question, if the particular strain you were smoking was high in TCH, that may be why you had such a reaction.

This basically means that the effects will be very cerebral or heady the higher the count of THC. I have found that when there is a high THC count in a strain and a low CBD count, that I get a way more psychadelic high. When I have a strain higher in CBD and lower in THC I have a bigger body sensation/pain relief.

I was at this dude's house with my cousin when I was like 17 and we smoked 2 joints of some skunk the guy grew. My cousin and I were outside having a smoke watching a lighting bug and the damn thing just poofed into a ball of fire. We both saw it but I don't know. It was really awesome though.
